- Our Vehicles Disassembly Station has the Mazowsze Governor's permission for scrapping and vehicle disassembly no. WŚR-V-6620/37/2005 and the decision regarding waste generation no. WŚR.V.EE.6620/97/2006
- The principles of the Station's operation are set by the Act of 20 Jan 2005 on the recycling of decommissioned vehicles (Official Gazette No. 25 pos. 202 with later amendments).
- ZOMIS is the official partner for disassembly within such companies and brands as: FSO JSC, Mercedes-Benz Poland Ltd, Chrysler Poland Ltd, BMW, Chevrolet-Opel, Renault, Peugeot.
- We pay for every complete car delivered to us for scrapping according to individual pricings.
- We pick up cars from within Warsaw with our own means of transport, free of charge.
Recycling of decommissioned vehicles
- A decommissioned vehicle is a hazardous material, threatening the environment: therefore, disassembly stations provide their safe processing to other types of waste, which is later recycled or disposed of.
- Each car accepted at the Disassembly Station undergoes recycling processes, i.e. activity aiming at reusing the recovered materials or parts for their original, or other, purpose (battery, scrap metal).
- The remaining elements of the vehicle undergo the processes of energy recovery (tires reused as fuel) or disposed of (plastics).
Documents required for scrapping a vehicle:
- Registration certificate or other document confirming vehicle's data,
- Vehicle Card (if issued),
- Vehicle owner's ID.
The effects of scrapping the vehicle
- After the vehicle being accepted for cassation, the owner receives:
- A certificate notifying the car's acceptance at the Vehicle Disassembly Station that authorizes them to deregister the vehicle at the Communications Department and terminate their liability insurance with their insurer. Attention - delivery of the documents to the Communications Department and to the insurer is the client's responsibility,
- Cancellation of the registration certificate,
- Cancellation of the registration plates,
- Cancellation of the Vehicle Card (if issued).
